Compaction

Compaction in Food Processing

Compaction is the process of turning powder flavourings into granules via compression. This makes the flavouring easier to use (e.g. in tea bags), increases the intensity of flavour and enhances its conservation over time.

In the case of plants, this process can be used to simply increase the product’s density and make its packaging more straightforward (e.g. capsules in pharmaceuticals and para-pharmaceuticals).

Our technical mastery, know-how and state-of-the-art equipment mean that we guarantee high-quality compaction.

Our ALEXANDERWERK WP5ON/75 compactor has a capacity of 120kg / hour.
